CSA: Community Supported Agriculture, allows friends and customers to buy a share up front and invest in our farm at the beginning of the season. In return, you will receive the freshest produce straight from the source on a weekly basis. Each share includes seasonal items that are in their prime, your diet becomes a true farm to fork diet. This will give you the ability to experiment with a variety of vegetables. You will be able to pick and choose what you want each week: whether corn and potatoes, or all corn, or all green beans, or any vegetable you want, mix and match what fits into your menu. We have a lot to offer, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
When does the CSA program start?
The CSA season starts mid July and runs until end of September. The Fall/Winter share starts beginning October and runs until end of December.

What kind of CSA shares does Berndt Family Produce offer?

Half Produce Share- $207 per season, ($17.88 weekly value), feeds family of 1-2

Small Produce Share- $430 per season, ($35.58 weekly value), feeds family of 2-3

Large Produce Share- $515 per season, ($43 weekly value), feeds family of 4-5

Canning Share – $190 per season, your choice of three bushels of the following popularly preserved produce: Green Beans, Corn, Beets, Tomatoes, Carrots, and/or Cucumbers

Salsa Share- $92 per season, With this share you will get all the vegetables you need to make your own salsa at home! We will be providing 40# your choice tomatoes, 5# your choice peppers, and 5# your choice onions. All you need to do is get the jars and time to make your favorite homemade salsa!

Fall/Winter Share- $275 per season, starting the beginning of October ending at the end of December 12# produce each week in October. 24# produce every other week starting November.

Gone for a week or two?
While we would appreciate notice that you will not be picking up your share, we cannot provide credit for a week you will miss. Feel free to have a friend enjoy your share for you.

Do you take credit cards as a payment method for credit CSAs?
Of course! Just call us and we will get your CSA order in for the upcoming season, or visit our store to purchase a share.
